Colin & Erin are Married!

Shooting Colin & Erin's wedding was very special for us, as they are both great friends of Brittany and Derrick (who was also a part of the wedding party!), and I've enjoyed getting to know them through this journey as well. We were honoured to be a part of their day.  

Erin and her bridesmaids were a dream to shoot as they helped each other get ready in between mimosas, laughter, and practicing for their 'soul train' dance. We got the added privilege of spending some time with Colin and his groomsmen before the ceremony and had a blast capturing their hilarious personalities. The weather report threatened rain, but luckily it held off until just before the reception. The intimate ceremony was held in the gazebo outside McKay School in front of their closest family and friends, and their reception took place at Yellowhead Brewery. The venue was cozy and beautiful, adorned by details designed by Colin himself. The food (and beer) was delicious, and we have to admit that the speeches were some of the best we've ever heard. The dance was amazing, DJ'd by their close friend, Dane McDonald, who even got the grandparents to bust a move. 

Colin & Erin are currently on their honeymoon in Europe, having the time of their lives, we are sure. Congratulations you two, and thank you for sharing your day with us!
