Katie & Jason | Married

Surrounded by mountains, sun, and their family and friends, Katie and Jason got married in the gorgeous Canmore landscape. The wedding was everything a mountain wedding should be - a weekend away in a cozy hotel, an unlimited supply of beautiful portrait locations, and the destination feeling without having to go very far. It reminds us how lucky we truly are to have the mountains just a drive away.

Katie & Jason put a lot of thought into the details of their wedding and it showed. The alter, the flowers, the decor, the welcome bags with hot chocolate, baileys, and candy awaiting all the guests, all had a made-with-love feeling. And seeing their amazing families and friends come together to celebrate, laugh, and dance all night, was confirmation of how wonderful Katie and Jason are.

Here are a few of our favourite moments:

1. Katie forgetting her vows at the hotel and instead speaking from her heart some of the sweetest vows we've every heard.

2. Adventuring to climb (small) cliffs through forests to get to the riverbank and stopping to take photos (and to non-stop laugh) in the middle of the road.

3. The Newlywed Game put on by Jason's sister, Jen, and Katie's brother, Evan, complete with music, prizes, and some healthy competition.

4. Katie & Jay's first dance to "Grow Old With Me", and watching them sing it to each other with the biggest smiles on their faces.

5. The midnight snack. Perogies and hot wings. Need we say more?
