Hudson

On August 10th, my best friend and her husband had a beautiful baby boy, Hudson Handley Deeks. She had asked me to photograph his first few moments as a crying, breathing, taking in the whole wide world little man, and I was honoured (and nervous) to do just that. It was my first time ever photographing something like this and I am so happy with the results. The waiting, the hoping, the nerves, the incredible joy when we walked in the room and they announced, 'It's a boy!' There was so much love in that room as we all met little Hudson, and welcomed him to the world.
